Undereye PRP

$299 per session

Crepey skin and wrinkles directly under the eyes is a top complaint of patients lately. Unfortunately, for this condition Botox and Fillers are not ideal treatment options. Botoxing those wrinkles can lead to an unnatural smile, while fillers will give a puffy effect.

Our first suggestion for crepey undereyes is to microneedle the face, including the undereyes. This treatment creates microinjections to initiate the production of collagen, resulting in skin tightening. For those who do not wish to microneedle, our next suggestion is to inject autologous (meaning from you) PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) under the eyes.

The platelets are collected via a blood sample from the patient, centrifuged, and separated from other blood cells to become platelet rich plasma. The PRP is then injected under the eyes.

The procedure itself causes moderate pain.

Like with any aesthetic injections, there is a chance of bruising, and in this case definitely swelling. Try to avoid blood thinners such as ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oils, turmeric pills, and alcohol 5 days prior to procedure.
