Filler

Dermal fillers are a hyaluronic acid based gel which help reduce the signs of aging by restoring volume and reviving youthful definition.

We use both Juvederm and Restylane products. The product chosen depends on the patient's goals.

Injections can cause some discomfort, therefore patients are numbed for 30 minutes prior to their appointment. 

​

Like with any aesthetic injections, there is a small chance of bruising. Try to avoid blood thinners such as ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oils, turmeric pills, and alcohol 5 days prior to procedure. 

 

The effects of filler in the lips or around the mouth last anywhere between 3 and 12 months, depending on the type of filler, as well as amount administered.

The effects of filler in the midface and cheeks last anywhere between 12 and 24 months, depending on the type of filler, as well as amount administered.
