Dysport

Dysport is a neuromodulator, or muscle relaxant, that is injected into various areas of the face and neck to soften the appearance of wrinkles & lines.

The procedure itself causes minimal pain.

The amount of Dysport needed is very patient dependent. In our practice, patients are receiving approximately 40 units on average for aesthetic purposes.

 

Dysport takes roughly 2-3 days to start kicking in, and its' effects last between 2.5 and 4 months (the higher the dosage, the longer the duration).

Like with any aesthetic injections, there is a small chance of bruising. Try to avoid blood thinners such as ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oils, turmeric pills, and alcohol 5 days prior to procedure.
